• Industry Leader in Energy Procurement

George Groner started his energy career in the “pits” of the MidAmerica Exchange and then the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. From there he went “upstairs” and created trading strategies and hedging programs for commodity markets and financial derivative products. Energy markets became extremely volatile and he began advising clients on market trends.

He formed an independent consulting and brokerage firm to help clients choose the right energy supplier and the right hedging strategy.

George is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri with a degree in chemistry. He holds a C.E.P. (Certified Energy Procurement Professional) certification from the A.E.E. (Association of Electrical Engineers).
